Sea and Desert and Me

Oh yeah, it's been awhile! The Fall has been busy and really awesome. Cooler temps, day trips and new experiences, and of course, pushing on the revisions for Black Doves. Speaking of which, feast your little squinties on this:

I'm planning for early 2013 release (January, if all goes well with getting approval from Bliss House, etc.). It is my hope that more novels will follow (not necessarily 1999, mind you).

And speaking of Space: 1999, here's a great shot I managed at the convention in September. Pure gold:

From left: Anton Phillips (Dr. Mathias), Chris Penfold (show writer), Nick Tate (Alan Carter), Martin Landau (John Koenig), Prentis Hancock (Paul Morrow)
Last month I accomplished one of those bucket list things: now I can say I've seen the sun rising on the Atlantic (and the East Sea from the shores of S. Korea) and setting on the Pacific:

Saailling...takes me away...to where I've always...(whatever it is Christopher Cross sings there that I can never understand)
Last weekend, my roommate and I hopped into the Exxtreme Camry and headed to Vasquez Rocks (of Star Trek fame, among other Hollywood productions) and the Mojave desert. Never thought I'd love the desert as much as I apparently do.

Once my revisions are complete, I'll be writing more here, again. I have quite a few topics and rants stored up to unleash. Until then, happy pre-Thanksgiving weekend.
